EASA PART 147 BASIC TRAINING PROGRAM

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

One of the most challenging problems faced by people who want to get in the aircraft maintenance industry today, is obtaining numerous years of work experience. As most employers out there would require that you have few years of work experience before giving you the job. However, at the end of this program, each trainee would be able to prove 2 – 3 years of work experience on live aircrafts in a part 145 maintenance facility. Also, these years of work experience would be enough to meet the requirement to apply for the EASA part 66 B1.1 Aircraft Maintenance License at the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA)  of the country.

Additionally, Avio Technics has also made arrangements, for students who would like obtain a bachelors’ degree in Aircraft maintenance engineering, with the University of Applied Sciences, Velika Gorica. This degree program will be run side-by-side with the Basic training program and the ECTS points obtained will be cross-credited and thereby, enable the students to conclude the degree program within the same time frame as the Basic training program. However, this degree program is completely optional and the tuition is not included in the Basic Training fee.
